VU & DLA Piper join forces in Migration Law Clinic

DLA Piper, one of the largest global law firms, is going to support the work of the Migration Law Clinic, run by students and staff of the Migration Law section of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The Migration Law section is one of the largest research groups on migration law worldwide.

Lawyers of DLA Piper will support the Migration Law Clinic by supervising student teams, by coaching moot court teams and by training students in practical skills like drafting and presentation. The Migration Law Clinic contributes to promoting the development of migration law by providing customized expert opinions to lawyers in strategic litigation before the European Courts. Through the dedicated work of students and staff, the Migration Law Clinic supports the development of asylum law, migration law and law on immigration detention in Europe. The Migration Law Clinic is part of the Master's track International Migration and Refugee Law of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
