Curriculum vitae
Born and educated in Frankrijk. From 1996 til 2010 worked at the Law Faculty of Utrecht University among others as Ph-researcher and Assistant Professor. Obtained her doctorate in Utrecht under the supervision of Prof. E.H. Hondius on a comparative law research on the battle of forms.

Research activities
Chantal Mahé takes part to the Faculty´s research programme 'Public Contracts: Law & Governance'.

Mahé conducts comparative law research on Dutch and French Law regarding several Law of Obligation issues (e.g. punitive damages, compensationschema for victims).

Expertise
Mahé´s fields of expertise are Dutch and French Private Law, especially Law of Obligation
