Koen de Roo joined the Faculty of Law in September 2015 as a PhD candidate at the Zuidas Institute for Financial Law and Company Law (ZIFO). He holds an LLM from King’s College London (merit) and an LLM in company law from VU University Amsterdam (cum laude), having read Dutch law at Maastricht University and Spanish and International Business Law at ESADE Law School (LLB).
Koen de Roo conducts research in the programme ‘Public targets and private interests in private law’. His research, conducted under the supervision of professors Wino van Veen and Albert Verdam, centres on private law legal entities, with a particular focus on mapping the tasks of boards of directors.
