Research activities
The PhD project of Whitney de Haan is entitled: ‘An intervention-based diagnostic instrument for assessing parenting potential in child protection cases’.

Whitney de Haan is a PhD- student who conducts research at the VU and Leiden University. The project will take place in two psychiatric facilities where families can stay when children face out of the home placement. The goal of the research is to develop an diagnostic instrument based on the VIPP-APP (Video-feedback Intervention to promote Positive Parenting for the Assessment of Parenting Potential)  to help guide professionals in the decision-making process of out of home placement.
