Madelijne Gorsira (1987) studied psychology at the University of Groningen. In 2010 she received her master’s degree Clinical psychology (cum laude). During her master’s she did an internship in forensic psychology, where she worked with sex offenders and people with aggressive problems. During and after her master’s she worked as a researcher in social psychology, where she studied the influence of values and norms on prosocial behaviour.
As of September 2012 Madelijne Gorsira works as a PhD student at the department of Criminal Law and criminology. Madelijne conducts research in the programme 'empirical and normative studies'. ‘Corruption; intolerable public-private partnership.’ Her research focuses on the causes of public-private corruption and on strategies to combat bribery in an effective way.
