The Criminal Law and Criminology Department provides courses for a number of programmes. For the Bachelor of Laws, the department offers three courses as well as the minor Contemporary Dilemmas in Criminal Law. The Master of Laws has a specialization in criminal law. The department also offers a minor Forensic Criminology within the bachelor phase.

Furthermore, the department offers a bachelor programme Criminology, a master Criminology and a master International Crimes and Criminology. The Bachelor Criminology provides a broad introduction to criminology with legal, psychology, social science, and criminology-specific courses. The master Criminology has two specialisations: Investigation Criminology, focused on analyzing crime issues, and Intervention Criminology, focused on ending criminal careers. The master International Crimes and Criminology is the interdisciplinary study of gross, large-scale human rights violations.
