Mandy van Rooij conducts research in the programme 'Public Contracts: Law & Governance'.
Controlling structural disturbance is considered a high priority problem by the Government. Semi-public and private actors also operate in this field. They can be active in areas such as social housing, public transportation, health care and residents associations. This research involves the interaction between all the actors to fight and prevent disturbance in de public domain. This approach creates a mix of public law and private law instruments and consideration is given to the fundamental principles of public and private law that must be taken into account.
